I was looking at different pellets on Amazon and saw something called "competition blend". Its basically hickory, maple and cherry pellets all mixed together. That got me thinking...I should just mix all the pellets I have (hickory, mesquite, apple and cherry) together and use them so I don't have to worry about swapping pellets out all the time. Thoughts?

They (Traeger)actually recommend mixing pellets in the #traegershopclasses.. thats how all the blends actually started people just experimenting... that being said. I personally wouldn't mix Mesquite in that combo (I love mesquite but it can be overpowering).. but the others sound bombsome! They even enable you buy sellling pellet storing containers and lids (sold separately)
