Shopping for now.
Newbie here. I have looked at both the Mesa 22 and the Pro Series 22. It seems that the Pro Series 22 is an overall better unit. More room, "sawhorse" style cart, and two racks. The Mesa is available at Costco for $50 less than the Pro Series 22 but it seems to me that the Pro Series has $50 more value.

Any thoughts?

Definitely worth the extra $50 in my opinion. Better legs, upgraded controller, and more grilling space. And the Pro 22 isn't a "Costco-exclusive" model.

I agree GusGus. I just purchased the Costco Mesa 22 and later realized it was less than the Pro 22. It lacks the 2nd top rack and the 2nd thermometer port on the Costco model. Other than this, they appear to be identical. Costco does reduce the price by $50 and includes a free cover, but it's my opinion they're the very same pellet grill with the Costco Mesa 22 having fewer features (2nd rack/space and 2nd thermometer probe). I'm highly disappointed in Costco on this purchase deal. :(

Pro 22 has no WiFi tho... I owned one and didn't like it at all, didn't hold a "low jerky temp" at all, always wanted to go straight to 200° and over... No APP, no other options either.
But hey, if you have a budget then so be it, Pro 22

The nice thing with Costco is their Return policy

Agreed. And you'll probably need it if you buy one of their "Costco-Exclusive" models.

I love me some Costco, but I'd be very hesitant to buy one of their models just because of all of the issues I've read on here about the Silverton, Mesa, Century, etc.

My first Century 22 was a lemon with a poorly designed heat baffle, so I took it back after 9 months when Traeger could not replace the warped heat baffle. No issues. The current Century 22 has a different design and has been rock solid from day one.
