575 PRO
I have a 575 PRO and the meat probe needs to be replaced. So i went online to find one and they only sell the ones with a male connector that plugs into the control panel. This is where the issue is, the meat probe that came with my unit has a female end that plugs into the control panel. I find out from Traeger my model has been discontinued which is fine as they still support the parts. When I talked to them about my issue they asked if I have a 3rd party control board as their connectors are all male. Hummm, if that is the case why does my meat probe have a female connector? Does anyone out there have a 575 PRO with a female connector on their meat probe that plugs into the control panel. I am trying to find a part number but every thing that I find is not correct. Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Can you post a picture of the control panel and the probe?

Sounds odd because if the probe has a female connector the control panel must have a male connector which sounds more like a "Heath Robinson" third part fix rather than an original Traeger design given the 575 Pro is still a current model.

Just seen your other post on how you acquired it, as traeger860 says be interesting to see pics?

I had an extensive phone call with Traeger last night and they agreed to send me a new control panel, apparently the connector broke inside the port on the control panel.
