I’ve only added 3 mods to mine. They don’t alter the way the grill functions and I didn’t drill any holes. So can remove everything if they raise a stink.

Yup. Got my new replacement 620 yesterday from FedEx. Not even 2 weeks old.Well dang.....excitedly opened the package from Traeger to find a brand new meat probe. Oh well. I chatted with Traeger CA online and they’re sending me another thermocouple and apologized.
I should’ve just asked for a new grill as they seem to be good dealing those out.
Finally got mine done. One cook in the books.I recall seeing this. I finally located some stainless strap. The probe screws are frozen solid so does anyone know if it's okay to use self tapping screws on the Ironwood to hold the strap in place?
Dump Facebook, just call them on the phone. Their CS is actually quite good. They’ve been steady......or were last I cooked. I just got back from the beach so it’s been awhile.
I do t have Facebook but I guess maybe I can create an account just for this
the text to chat option you initiate from their website is also quite good.Dump Facebook, just call them on the phone. Their CS is actually quite good.
One problem, the screws are zinc plated. Going to HD to find a substitute. Finally got mine done. One cook in the books.
I did an easy fix to the problem on my 780 Pro after I broke mine removing the deflector to clean the fire pot. I just took two pieces of 1” angle 4” long and drilled a 1/4” hole 2” up from the bottom and then attached them to the existing hopper bracket bolts. This sticks out just past the end of the pit probe and keeps the grate or drop shield from hitting. Seemed to work well and look like it was meant to be there. This picture is before I sprayed with canola and seasoned it.So is my internal probe busted already? I never really paid any attention to what it really looked like before I started using.
