I'm done with the traeger probe. What are the go-to meat probes that work with my phone?

I think it is time to bite the bullet and buy some real probes. I want something that can send signals wirelessly to an app on my phone. What is the best bang for the buck, and what is the best products out there?

edit:
Thermoworks X2?

I use InkBird. Fire board seems to be the board favorite but it’s a bit more pricey

I have two (2) of the InkBird IBBQ-4T and they have been great. When on sale on Amazon, they were $50 with 4 probes. I think the price on sale is closer to $60 now, but it's a lot less than the Fireboard. I've had mine for well over a year, and works quite well for me!

After reading posts on this forum, I have never used the Traeger probe. I have both a Thermoworks Signals and a Fireboard 2 - and since using the Fireboard, I haven't touched the Signals. Absolutely love the FB!

I cannot believe you went this long

I have 2 InkBirds (4 probes each). Works fine for me now, but probably will upgrade to Fireboard soon. A little bit at a time. My Thermopen One just showed up today.

I use GrillEye. Has 8 probes. WiFi.

I did not care about being able to plot temperature vs time, so I went with less expensive one by Tudoccy. It came with four probes and has a local transmitter plus a remote receiver. It does not connect to a smartphone, but the receiver works great and provides temperature alerts. I checked the accuracy of all four probes, comparing it to a thermometer known to be accurate.

The Tudoccy does not come with bragging rights, but it does seem to get the job done. I do not know how durable it will be long term, but it has already survived an inadvertent drop test. If it survives this cooking season, I will have been worth the money.

As far as bang for the buck I think the Inkbird is a great choice. It's very accurate and has an app. The fireboard is 3-4X the price depending on where you get them. It keeps track of your cooks etc. so if that type of thing is important to you you might go that route. If you just want a good unit with 4 probes that you can monitor from your phone the inkbird is for you.
I also have an Mk4 for my instant read.

I have the ThermoWorks Signals as well as the Meater Probes. Can’t go wrong with either.

I use Inkbrid wireless probes. I have a Bluetooth version about 5 years old and a wifi version that I bought last summer.

I'd love to get a Fireboard one day, but they are a bit pricey…especially here in Canada!

Orange TW Signals with grate and meat probes. Very happy with it and the phone app tells me what I need to know.
Plotting the temp v. time is the best way to see what's happening for me.
