I have had issues in the past where the ignition button didn’t ignite the grill. I loosened the mounting screw in the lower right hand corner and everything was fine. Tonight I couldn’t get the grill to ignite and I opened the controller and attempted to push the momentary switch on the PCB with a jewelers screwdriver and still nothing. I put everything back together and now it works just fine. I’m stumped. I’m hoping it was just a fluke because I’m out of warranty now and a new D2 controller will cost $300. Anyone else have a similar issue and figure out a permanent fix? I’m just praying this doesn’t crap out on Thanksgiving when I do my turkey. Thanks everyone.

Mine was doing that. Traeger told me to try and loosen the screws. I went out the next day and it worked fine (without loosening screws) but I’m a bit terrified it’s going to crap out on me too. I’m in charge of a turkey this Saturday and another on Sunday
