Hi all, totally new to this forum. I have an old Traeger wood pellet BBQ or grill, and I'm trying to get a manual for it and figure out which model it is. I sent an email to Traeger, but they didn't respond. So I'm turning to YOU, the real pro's...the owners & operators.
It's got a roll-top aluminum front that slants back & long wood handles. It's rectangular built (not the common round style). Hopper is on the INSIDE, left side behind roll-up lid. The paint is dark green. The circuit board control is at left end, w/power switch/high/med/smoke settings. Not digital, & no feedback to controller.
And, YES the unit actually runs! Had to un-thread auger from stuck mass of hardened pellets. carefully pound out that stuck mass, put it all back together, and start it up. Runs on all settings, but it needs restored. It's a bit rusty.
After talking with a Traeger salesman at Costco. He told me "Wow, you have the original model that Joe Traeger built in his barn! I think I saw him lift his jaw off his shoe :O)
Eager to hear your comments! & questions.
