I offered to cook today, but the kids are taking Mom to brunch at Treaty Oaks Distillery. Should be fun.

Took wife and kids to Italian restaurant yesterday. Today just lay back. Happy Mother's to your significant other and moms.

Well, we won't be doing Mother's Day at Treaty Oaks Distillery again. What a huge disappointment on the food plus eating outside in 99 degree sunny weather and loads of flies. Much of the listed food was not there and only plastic cocktail plates were available.

The wind was nice, but would blow any cup or plate not held down off the table. For $55/head we could do a lot better at home with my cooking.

Lesson learned by my kids: Don't wait till the last minute to book a Mother's Day meal and don't book it at Treaty Oaks ever again.
