Got my Fireboard 2

I have a TP-Link mesh, with 2.4 and 5. I configured the guest be only 2.4, 'forgot' the main SSID, and made sure my phone was on the guest.

Update: I did try my son's Traeger account on my phone, tried again to connect to my grill but it still didn't work.

I'm curious if anyone else has a Note 8, and successfully (or not) gotten it linked to their grill?

Mine wasn't happy until I removed the special characters I had in the WiFi name and pwd. Once it was just upper/lower and numbers it finally connected.

Sounds like tons of people just straight up defective units though.

yeah, I have already done that. Just not sure why my Note 8 (android) won't connect but my son's iPhone will.
