Flat rock griddle top issue

Hey Y’all,

I’m really enjoying my new flat rock. Been cooking in it quite often. We had a storm for a week, and tonight when I went to cook, I found the following (see picture). The grill is covered with a traeger brand cover, and I season it after every use. It doesn’t look like rust… is there enamel on the cast iron cook site? Did this wear off? And ideas?

Welcome to the forum! Same thing happened to me here in SoCal. Five inches of rain last week and my flat top looks similar.
Get one of these if you don't have it yet.

You'll need it anyway. I'm planning to scrape it smooth and re-season the whole griddle.
