First post! I cooked some wings on my brand new Pro 780 and they tasted great. I cooked them at 400F for 35 minutes. Very tasty and cooked perfectly. Even somewhat crispy on the outside (I used a little corn starch in the rub). But what surprised me was how there really wasn't a pronounced smoky flavor. Honestly, it tasted like I cooked them in my oven. I used Traeger Mesquite pellets. Did I set my expectations too high? Is there a trick to getting solid smokiness?
