I bought an Ironwood 885 and had auger problems. After 2 1/2 hours on phone with traeger and taking the Entire grill apart,3times, finally got it to work. First rep had NO CLUE!!!! And hung up on me. Second rep tried her best and we finally fixed the auger problem(set screw was installed in wrong place at factory so auger would hit it and not move). Then I tried to hook up to WiFi with app...... of course another problem with control panel. Now traeger going to send another panel. Said it needs updates and I need another panel. UGH!!!!! Should have bought the Weber.
Jerked and Italian chicken legs were very good.

Sorry for all the issues. I owned a SmokeFire for almost a year before returning it. IW885 is a better unit but not perfect.

I looked at the Weber but it was hard to find real positive reviews. Most sound like they rushed to market and it has a lot of kinks to work out.

With respect to connecting to WiFire, I would suggest the following if this is your issue. I have an android phone and had a hard time connecting, however, after trying with an iPad/iPhone, I was able to connect right away. Since Traeger uses the same account, I just had to login to the account via the app and it worked for me on Android. Good luck. I enjoy smoking on my IW885.
