Help! D@mn Grommet !

Every time I thread the thermo through the grommet, it comes out of the grill! Anyone got a hack to keep the grommet in place?

A dab of high heat silicone in the channel area of the grommet works great to hold it once it cures

Good ideas. I've been OK by being careful threading the cable through (I let the grill cool before removing the probe). They wear out anyhow - keep some spares handy. A pack of 4 or so is cheap; can't remember if I got 'em on Amazon or the Traeger site.

mine came in a 10 pack for under $10, you get 6 now
