Cooking half a chicken

Greetings,
I love to cook a whole chicken with the Traeger Challenge method. But what if I just want to cook half a chicken? I plan on cutting the chicken in two halves and cooking the other half in a few days.
Any suggestions?

Just cook to Internal Temperature, not time.
Brine/inject/prep/rub/temp as you do with whole yard bird, and pull when it tells you it’s ready.

Spatchcock that bird! Cooks about the same time as 2 halves, and the presentation of that bird laid open like that makes a splash

Thanks guys. You were right. Just like cooking a whole chicken. I put in a couple of potatoes to bake a while before the chicken went on. Everything came out delicious. Bird looked like a centerfold model when I opened up Ol Junior.
