Pro 780, Bronson 20 , Char grill gasser, Char griller modified offset, Blackstone 3 burner griddle
Ingredients

1ea. 10 X 13 in. Aluminum pan
Aluminum foil
1ea. 30 oz. cherry pie filling
1ea. 30 oz. blueberry pie filling
1ea. White cake mix
1 stick of butter
3 to 4 tablespoons sugar

instructions

Pour blueberry pie filling in pan and level, pour cherry pie filling in pan and level. Pour cake mix on top of pie filling and level. Sprinkle sugar on top of cake mix evenly. Cut butter into pad and place in pan spacing evenly. Cover pan with foil sealing tightly.

Bake at 350f for about an hour.


I haven’t made this yet but I will. I will also cook it at a lower temp for longer.

Edit: put the cake mix in dry.

I have a gathering planned next weekend and was trying to think of a dessert I could make on the grill (grilled pineapple gets old quickly!). This might fit the bill. The only variation is that I might add some bourbon to the pie filling!

A dollop of ice cream on top would finish it nicely!
 
I don’t know why that wouldn’t work, sounds good!

You can also change it up and use different pie fillings, and I suppose different cake mixes.
 
This came out really good. Next time I think I will use 21oz can of pie filling not the 30 oz. IMO it had to much. I put it in the grill at about 265f for about 2 hours, cake was done and browned nicely.
