Hey folks,
I have had a Junior (BBQ055) for I think almost 10 years with no issues.. never had to replace a single part, and it fires up no problem every spring after being out for the winter.
Until now... I can't seem to hold a temp when the digital thermostat is set to 'High'. It will get up over 500 but just won't stay there. I would say it goes above 500 for 10-30 seconds and the drops quickly down to below 400 and even as low as 350.
I have the baffle and drip tray out right now while I troubleshoot, and when it starts to drop, I open the lid and it seems the firepot is close to empty . The auger is continueing to move, so is it just not moving fast enough? Is that where I should start?
Note - She has been cleaned... It wasn't even getting above 400 until I cleaned out the pot real well.
