Anyone try these yet?

I saw those, but rather use a tube (have 2)...can put in any flavor, and much less expensive.

I have an idea i want to try. Grind up real wood chips and use the tube. Even the smallest wood chips are too big in my opinion, just have not figured how to do it yet.

I have some red oak pieces (sticks) that cut into about 3/4 inch slices and then used a hatchet to make chips. I put these in my smoke tube and use that in the Traeger.

So does this means we can use all of the dust from the bags for smoking? I like the nothing goes to waste ideal.

I'm not sure what the benefit is since you're still using pellets...?

Use chainsaw to make larger sawdust.
Any chainsaw that I have ever used required chain oil for lubrication. Chain oil is not something I would want flavoring my smoke. I think most chain oil is just used motor oil that has been filtered, so who knows what it might contain.
