I have a big Fig tree in my front yard and it's putting out loads of figs, so I thought I would try Traegering some with bacon.

I wrapped half a slice of bacon around each fig and held it in place with a toothpick and put it on a grill topper. The grill topper makes it easy to slide on and off the Traeger.

I cooked them at 425 for about 15 minutes. Mmmmmmm Yummy!

The Winter Snow Apocalypse of February 2021 decimated that fig tree. It's coming back, but it will be a few years till I see a bumper crop of figs again.

Always the grocery store. I’ve done similar and stuffed the fig with goat cheese and glazed with balsamic reduction. Simply Devine but too much work for everyday fare. Yours look wonderful and bring back fond Memories of my own efforts. Thanks for sharing. Even if a while ago. 👍🏻
