I cut a bunch of plum wood off of one of my large trees after a pretty severe snowstorm a few years ago and was using it as smoke wood with my weber smoky mountain bullet smoker...before I got my Traeger. I loved the smoke, very similar to apple. It got me thinking, has anyone ever seen plum wood pellets? or, has anyone ever used plum in a stick or charcoal smoker?

Never heard of using plumb wood before. I’m new to pellets (4 months new), but have stuck burning for a decade and never seen anything like that.

My pleasure. There's a few different types of pellets they sell. I just book marked it myself. 300g (roughly 1 lb.) bags are not nearly enough. I noticed they do sell 3 kg. (a little over 6 lbs.) sized bags. I haven't checked prices or shipping costs.

Keep us posted if you do in fact hook up with any of these. Always good to have feedback, positive or negative.
