Just bought this, but disappointed no additional smoke setting. What does anyone use to get more smoke going? A additional tray w chips or a smoke ring? Also where would you put it.

Smoke tube. Go to the top of this webpage and search “smoke tube” and you’ll see a lot of discussion on the subject

Tiger is correct, there are hundreds of threads on adding smoke to Traeger grills
I have a 575 also, and I'm completely happy with using my smoke tube setup with wood chips, and my Bella Smokin it also works great for adding smoke and cold smoking...
I came from years of using wood/coal smokers and I'm putting out food that matches that using tubes.
A 2pack is only $20 on Amazon, probably the best money ever spent to make your food taste great

Definitely got to use smoke tubes and whatever else, you not gonna get it with any pellet grills unless you add the smoke to it. I can get decent smoke on ribs and chicken but I do butts on my green egg.

I appreciate the input from everyone, but where would you place the tube, bottom rack, top rack, below the bottom rack?

I don't think it matters just a whole ton. For me I place it in the back right corner of my 575 furthest away from the smoke stack. I rarely have my top rack in so I just prop it on the little lip that would hold it. I've read it's more likely to go out if not angled.....gravity and all.....but not sure if that's fact or fiction. Makes sense to me so that's why I do it.

I close off some of the exhaust so the fan doesn’t force it out so fast. It’ll circulate around inside the grill longer. I also raise/elevate whatever I’m cooking up off the grate so smoke can circulate all around the meat. I use a smoke tube and a smoke box. I usually put them to the side so it’s not under the meat but away from the exhaust tube. I’m sure it really doesn’t matter but not under the meat. Drippings will make a mess and probably put out the tube.
