Well, does the super smoker work well from the eBay controller?

Great minds think a like. I plan on doing that, and adding a half shelf. I looked for some at Home Depot, but couldn’t find any.

I haven‘t owned but a couple of weeks, but I saw that KevinJ made a bottom shelf and I wanted one too. ‘I used cedar fencing boards. I reenforced the bottom because the boards are a little thin. I didn’t enclose the side and back so air can still flow through.

I plan on doing the Sam thing when I put mine together, it will be deliver 1 Feb. I plan on using Cedar.

That’s almost exactly how I do it. Never, ever had a failure.

Rusty, thank you for the compliment. I too have a fan for the Kamado. I am really looking forward to trying out the Traeger. I also have a dual temp gauge, but will check it out after I emotionally recover from spending the bucks on the Traeger.
