WiFire Connectivity Problems

WiFire connectivity was working fine after being told by support when I got new grill that it would pair ONLY with a 2.4ghz network. Had my network split into 2.4 and 5.0, connected to 2.4 and all was working well for several weeks. Would not connect yesterday. After multiple times trying to reconnect, uninstalling and reinstalling the app several times, I tried a factory reset, deleted the app AGAIN, and reinstalling app. Have tried to reconnect shooting QR code as well as manually. Nothing seems to work. I've really gotten dependent on WiFire and love it but this is getting frustrating. It's a Costco Silverton 610 so I can take it back if necessary and pay the extra for the new Silverton 810 with the upgraded controller if this first generation D2 has a history of ongoing connectivity issues. The 820 is considerably more expensive but it does have some additional nice features. Anybody have suggestions?

I would take it back and get the 810, going to save you a lot of problems. Otherwise try for a new controller from Traeger.
