Traeger Timberline
Hello All,

I am planning on transporting my grill and wanted to see if anyone has done this before? I have the Timberline and was planning on laying it flat on its back in my SUV.

Do you think this would cause any problems?

Thank you

I would suggest that you remove all the loose pieces that are inside, (grills, drip tray, flame diffuser, anything loose inside) and wrap them up in some newspaper so they wont leave any soils in your vehicle. This would be a good time to do a good cleaning if it needs it. You could remove any pellets in the hopper or just tape the lid down so they won't spill out. I agree that the back is the best way, but you might bungee the lid so it stays in place. I hope you have some help loading and unloading as you already know these are pretty heavy. Hope this helps, and Welcome to the forum,. Great folks and Great information at your finger tips.

is it even going to fit in the SUV? Seems like it would be very tight.
