Hey all,
First of all, thank you for taking the time to read and assist with my issue.
Ive had an Ironwood 885 for about a year. lately I've noticed that the "actual" Temperature on the controller and the set temperature have a huge variance. anywhere between 20-40F. This is my last cook set to 225 and it wont ready above 190. I don't think its struggling to heat it, as when I crank it to 450 it will go to about 390-420. Its just always sitting below the set temp. Does this sound like a fault controller?
Temperatures right now in Canada are still warm around 70-75F during my cooks so I don't think that's the issue. If it was a faulty thermocouple, i would assume the temperature on the display would still get to the set temp on the controller, even though the actual temperature may be off.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
