Traeger style Baked Potatoes

First time making baked potatoes in the Traeger today. Dang they came out good. Preheated to 450 degrees. Washed the potatoes real good and then patted dry with a paper towel. Rubbed down with oil and then used a bit of sea salt.

50 minutes on the smoke machine and boom!

And with a little chili and cheese. Perfect lunch for a cold Texas day ?

Oh YES it does!!! Marshall, Tx, Ice on roads quite often in winter, about 2 inches of snow a few times. Fun in a 68 El Camino with one winter tire LOL

I would not have expected that! that would be quite fun/terrifying with an old muscle car with a large engine and probably open diff. haha

Actually positrak, 307 auto, and no prob going up the inclined driveway out of the apartment complex, with speed bumps! as well.... was 18 at the time, And drove a bunch of other residents cars up to the top so they could get out LOL
But then learned to drive upstate NY by Binghamton. ;-)
 
And on the potatoes, they look like something deffo want to try, thanks for posting!!
