Traeger app / Login / 2 mobile devices

Am told their having issues with logging out - then back in- to traeger app. Once logged out of app - when you go to log back in- am getting error message “user or password not found” - even though you may know you’re entering the correct credentials it wont let you log back into app for monitor & operation of grill. So you’re left with one option: “reset password” ... when this the reset email never reaches your email on file. In Calling tech support they can only offer setting up a new user ID with a different email & password....the traeger support will try to send you a reset email but it won’t be in you’re email. They don’t know why.....If you’re wondering why one would log out of traeger app - it’s because one of their support people said you can only be logged in with one mobile device at a time. On a different call I was told is no problem to be in the app with 2 different mobile devices- which was accurate up until about a month ago after being unable to log into the traeger app at all. Keep in mind you have to re-establish new wi-fi connection anytime you create a new traeger profile app. After 6 separate calls to their tech support - I’ve learned: 1) if you log out of traeger app you won’t be able to log back in (2) the “reset password” won’t reset because you won’t receive it from traeger support (3) according to traeger this is a known issue with no resolution. A single Traeger Account can be accessed via multiple App Devices, as well as monitor multiple connected WiFIRE Controllers ...

The best way to password reset an account is via their website - https://www.traegergrills.com/forgot-password - doing a password reset via their App appears to be hit-and-miss, but always seems to work as expected via the web ...

We have 3 iPhones, 2 iPads, a couple Amazon Fire Tablets with Google Play side loaded, an Intel-based Mac Mini running BlueStacks emulator (Android), and an M1 Mac Mini all logged into the same Traeger account simultaneously ...

Thanks for your feedback!! In one of the calls support did have me try as you indicated (not thru the app) but on traeger website, it was a no go. Tried again after reading your post. Another No go. While their support people are helpful- I was hoping I could convince one of them to replicate this issue, unfortunately no one was willing to. It would help to know if it’s a “yahoo” mail issue (account access/reset) or something else. Some of their support have been told it’s an issue without resolution.....
 
I have lots of password/reset emails never coming to Yahoo, I have like 7 other accounts I use instead but my yahoo is the oldest and when having a site send something to it... it never shows, or it takes days.
I don't know why, I have no idea but Yahoo for me sucks this way.

create a NEW email with something else, (gmail, etc) create a NEW Traeger account and off you go.
Uninstall your APP till you have a NEW account made, then start from scratch.
That's the best I got
