The second time I’ve used this traeger had a pork butt on for three hours went to the store and came home and looked at my remote temp It was up to 425. I had the butt cooking on 225. Had to shut everything down because the drip pan and butt were starting to burn. Took everything apart and evidentially pellets were stuck in the hopper with smoke coming back through the hopper?? Tried to clear the auger What a pain in the A. Do these grills do this all the time? I may have ruined the meat, I followed al directions to the tee. Didn’t overload the hopper. Used “TRAEGER” pellets. Guys I’m not really impressed.
