Traeger 780 Controller question.

Thinking about picking up a Traeger 780 used for $500, I understand it has wifi but it is a PID controller or the standard controller that works off an algorithm?

It has a D2 controller, “ smart” controller.

I assume it's a PID because in the description it says it "maintains precise temperatures".

Does your 780 have big temp swings?

Not terrible, it depends on the weather. Most times they aren’t to bad. Here is a FireBoard feed of the best cook it’s done as far as temp swings.

Well...I think $500 for a 2 year old 780 is a great deal..so I think I'll buy it...thank you!
