Traeger 34 temperature fluctuation issues.

I'm having issue with my traeger 34. I set it at 180 degrees and the temp is spiking to 300+. I installed a new RTD and the issue continues. Any advice?

I have the same issue, called customer service they’re now sending me a new induction fan. My fan currently works so I’m not sure this is the fix. My grill when set on 180 shoots up to 390 to 425.....I’ve never been able to maintain a temp.

Perhaps the fan isn't running at the correct speed.....Cheers and hope it solves the issue.

I am having the exact same issue.

Finally my grill is holding temperatures. Traeger sent me a new controller and success. Grill is now holds temps within Traeger Spec. Simple repair....note new controller does not have P hole.
