new guy here (both forum and Traegers)...in fact, never cooked with wood pellets ever before. Plenty of experience with charcoal and gas (cough cough....it has its place) and look forward to learning, and hopefully contributing in the future.

Congrats! I cannot imagine why there would be shame in using a gasser but if there is then count me shamed. I enjoy cooking with wood, charcoal, gas, electric, oil, and Sous Vide :)

Same here...I do a ton of Sous Vide for when I go fishing, then finish on a portable gas grill. Just threw on some chicken thighs a little bit ago for my first Traeger cook. I figure it's something that's hard to screw up.

Welcome to the forum @clarkman23 and congrats on the new Traeger! ? I still use my Weber gas grill as well, no worries here.
