Hi! I have looked everywhere and cannot find any information on the dimensions of the inside of the barrel. I do NOT mean WxD I mean distance between the grates 1. tier (rill and smoke) to 2. tier. 2. tier to 3. tier. 1. tier (smoke and grill) to 3. tier. Has anyone have a clue of what tose dimensions are? I want to build a rack for smoking sausages, so I need to know how high I can go. Thanks for any asssistance. Cheers
Fred

CM is fine. I live in Switzerland. which is which? Lets say from left to right? I can' really tell. Cheers

1e= 10c Bottom rack on smoke
2e= 16c Bottom rack on grill
3e= 14c upper rack / top grill
4e= the same sorry

Ok. so, if I got this right it would be 16 cm from 1. tier grill to 3. tier or is it 32 cm from 1. tier grill to 3.tier?

1 Bottom rack on smoke (level 1) /upper rack 10cm.
2 Bottom rack on grill (level 0) / upper rack 16cm.
3 upper rack/top grill 14cm.

Ok I know I might seem stupid. You are calling the 2. tier rack the upper rack and the 3. tier rack top rack?
So, from 1. tier rack on grill level to top rack (3. Tier) = 32 cm? Did I get that right?

I believe he is giving you the dimensions of his Ironwood which only has 2 racks and not the dimensions of a Timberline which has 3 racks.

No, the upper rack is the small one, the big rack the bottom one. The bottom rack has 2 levels (grill level) and the first level (smoke level).

Bottom rack lowest level (grill) /upper rack (small one)=16cm
Bottom rack lowest level (grill) / top grill = 30cm (roof).
Bottom rack on smoke (level 1) /upper rack = 10cm.
Bottom rack on smoke (level 1) /top grill = 24cm
(Roof)
I hope you understand it.

Does anyone know why the heck traeger doesn’t make a front folding shelf for the timberline...

I don't know. Would like that and use it a lot. Makes for a compleately different work flow.

Back to the dimensions for a sec. Can anyone give me the dimensions for the left side shelf? And the front shelf? Cheers Fred
