Temperature Probe Storage

There are many temperature probe storage solutions out there, some are for sale and some are free to download and manufacture yourself. If you own or have family or friends that own a 3D printer, you can make them yourself at home.

I recently designed my take on a storage spool that is available for free on Thingiverse for 3D Printing if you are interested. I'm also interested in feedback... both positive and negative.

My intent is to help folks to safety store the probes and increase the life of the probe. I have both Traeger probes and various Fireboard probes that work with this design.

They work with Fireboard probes and the Traeger probe supplied with my Ironwood. With the embedded magnets they'll easily stick to your hopper.

Well, don’t feel so bad they’re sold by Thermoworks not FireBoard and they were just introduced last month. I think they are much better than the FB models, and more economical.

Agree. The FB probes fit nicely and the magnets are really handy.

Ummmm thermoworks can also STACK being magnetic... infact you can stack as many as you like!!!

I definitely like the size of the Thermoworks. The pic of you holding them in your hand is much better than the pics on the Thermoworks website. I think that pic convinced me...
