Help! Temperature Issues

Hi
My timberline 850 is having temperature issues,
It won’t get to temp
Stops pre heating before desired temp
The temp won’t adjust at all once the pre hea sign has turned off - up or down

New pellets
Latest firmware
Cleaned all components

any advise?

Yes it has worked before, last used around a month ago and it was ok then
We did have issues when it was new with the grill not getting up to temp and had parts changed, I have probably used it approx 6 times since then.

1 - Does it hold a consistent temp albeit too low?
2 - What parts were changed?

My 850 tends to take a while to ignite, like 15 min, then it overshoots before settling down to a pretty consistent temp around the setting (approx. +/- 5 degrees).

I now start mine at 200F, it will ignite and then get up to maybe 300 before dropping back. Once stable, I then set the desired higher temp if needed. If I set mine to say, 400F and ignite, mine will go over 500 and shut down with an over temp error.

If you haven't cleaned ash in the fire pot, it might be full and need cleaning.
Try running the auger, are pellets dropping in?
