Greetings! I've had my Pro 575 for about 3 months but was only able to build it about 3 weeks ago. I've tried a couple of the simple burger recipes from the app (including the Chipotle Peanut Butter burgers) and, honestly, every attempt has been a disaster. I've tried both sending the "GrillGuide" to the grill and manual cook. The GrillGuide data for the recipes was not even close to the printed recipe (times and temps did not match). My manual cooking attempts were also WAY off on timing. I tried the burgers at 450...4 minutes each side...and they were basically raw. Tried it again and left them on an extra 10 minutes and they were still really pink.

Between that and the continuing WiFire issues in the app I'm super frustrated at this thing. Can anybody recommend some solid starter recipes for me to start figuring this thing out? Thanks!

Matt

First thing I would tell you is the grill guide temps and times are sometimes wrong. I typically set times and temp manually on the grill or via the app. Also, I prefer to go by probe temp instead of times. So many things can cause time estimates to be off, outside temp, meat thickness etc.

First calibrate your probe and do an offset if it isn’t correct. Then try the smoked whole chicken by Dennis the Prescott in the app. It is easy and super delicious. Just make sure you get the probe in the right location. If you’re not sure, google where to put the temp probe on a whole chicken.

I’m relatively new to pellet grilling as well and I can tell you that everything I have made on my Pro 575 has been amazing! Let me know how it comes out!
