Silverton 810
I have been having a hard time getting my silverton 810 to connect to WiFi. Was on the phone with Traeger for over an hour trying to diagnose the issue. Anyone else having same issue?

Mine connects easily. Are you on a 2.4ghz network? Also what router?

I have an Xfinity router. They said that I have both a 2.4 ghz and a 5ghz Option. It used to have 2 separate options to connect it to but now they said they are combined and it will pick the best one to connect to.

My guess is the Traeger can’t connect to the 2.4ghz one. If you separate the two networks you should be able to connect to the 2.4ghz one.

The issue is the App Device is defaulting to its preferred connection (5 GHz radio) while the WiFIRE Controller is sitting over on the 2.4 GHz radio ... so 2 choices ... go back to separate SSIDs (Network Names) for the 2.4 & 5, or temporarily disable the 5 GHz radio, re-run setup with the App Device connected to the 2.4 GHz radio now that the 5 GHz is shut-off, and after successfully completing the setup/pairing process and confirming you can monitor/control the WIFIRE Controller, re-enable the 5 GHz radio ...

"Anthony61" any chance you are in the SF Bay Area ? I had a Silverton 810 ( traded it in for a T1300)
