Shut Down Procedure

I got my Pro 575 yesterday. I did the seasoning process and at the end I did the shut down procedure. My question is, when cooking, do I do the shut down when I’m finished cooking or just flip the switch and shut it off?

I always do the shut down procedure through the front panel before switching off the main power switch.

Always do a shutdown first. Clears out pellets in the fire pot. Once the shuts down is complete, you can turn off the switch.
