Pro 780 Fan issues

Hello, I have a pro780 grille. My question or concern is my fan stops working and comes back on. Maybe coincidence but today it happened whenever I lifted the lid to cook. It did it a couple of times unless I left the lid down. Any idea or information would be greatly helpful.

THANKYOU. I believe it is working properly. From what I was reading it will shutdown and come back on if temp drops and fan will shut off to keep pellets hot . And then will come back on after barrel temp comes back up . If I'm reading correctly.
