Had a rat(s) get into my Pro 575 via the grease chute, or whatever you call it that the grease bucket hangs onto. Crawled into grill and ate some grease and stuff still in grill from previous cook. How do you keep the rats out? I was thinking just take some tin foil and wrap around grease chute. I could weld up a little cover for it too I suppose if the foil doesn't stop them.

Never had the problem, but in the last week we've had a poster with a squirrel and now a rat problem

I think I might just weld a piece of flat metal across the opening so that it leaves like 1/4" opening across the bottom. Not sure why they have such a huge opening for grease to drip out of. Unless it's needed for smoke exhaust or something?

I probably have as much if not more smoke coming from the drain than the stack.

Unfortunately, there are no ideas about this, but the solution is very interesting
