Pellets - keeping track of what’s in hopper

How do you keep track of which pellets you have in the hopper? I’ll swap out pellets but sometimes question what pellets I’m swapping out of the grill. I’ve thought about just putting the actual bag of pellets in the top of the hopper, but worried it might melt.

Some dude on here I think used magnetic labels and put them on his hopper which is pretty slick.
