New to forum. Have 20 year old Lil' Tex. Finally had to replace hotrod. Instructions said to install new part with only 1/8 to 1/4" sticking into the fire pot. Followed instruction, grill would not ignite. The old hotrod stuck out into the fire pot 1-3/16". Reinstalled hotrod with 1" sticking out into the fire pot and worked fine. The hotrod glows red but not the first approx. 3/8" of the tip. The instructions from Traeger are misleading. You old heads may already know this. Just thought I would put my experience out there. Thanks.
