Outdoor Kitchen Build

WIFE: "Ok, you did the dishes, and the laundry, and vacuumed.... what are you building now??!!!"

My wife found an old cast iron sink on Craigslist for free. She's going to clean this up and refinish it and we'll put in the outdoor kitchen.

So, will this be an open covered patio "cook zone"? And if so, would a smoke hood or extraction fan be helpful, or does it just waft away?

Gonna hang a big ass ceiling fan in the middle when this is done.

and I would hope a couple LED spot lights too... light that grill UP!!!

Just an open cook zone. Ceiling is pretty high and the big ass fan will move any smoke out. Grills will be on the outer edges.

Awesome build! Keep up the good work. It's been fun following it!

Painting is done and the 96" big ass fan is up. Corrugated steel panels are designed to rust. They will end up with a rust colored patina and then stop rusting and seal the steel. They are 22 gauge thick. I think they will look cool when they are done rusting.
