So at the start of each of the last three cooks that I've done on my IW885 I've experienced something odd.
1. Turn on grill.
2. Ensure that the grill is connected to the app.
3. Select the desired pre-heat temp using the control panel.
4. Hit Ignite.
5. Go finish preparing for the cook.
The odd part is when the app, and the grill, report that the grill has reached temp 25-30 short of the set point. This has happened with multiple set points. Examples: I set the grill for 400F to cook pizza, grill indicates that it has reached temp at 370F, set the grill to 225F to cook ribs and grill indicates that it has reached temp at 200F. The weird part is that if I just bump the temp 5 degrees the the grill continues to climb up and reaches and maintains temp just fine. I start the grill up the same every time and I'm not sure what I could do any different. Any thoughts from the community or similar experiences? The grill is otherwise working great.
