After waiting for the weather to meet my schedule. I put the new hot rod in . Fire it up and the temperature went real high. Thought I had it to far into the pot. Took a tape measure and went 1/4 or what it looked . Now on start up it goes a little high but it came down. Now it drops a 25 degree before it comes back up to temperature. Can the hot rod be to far in causing this. Thanks for the help also cleaned off the temperature probe before I restarted the second time
