Traeger Ironwood 650, Weber Genesis, Anova Precision Cooker.
Bought my Pro 575 a few days ago. Current firmware 2.00.00 and current config 04.015. Grill kept getting stuck in the DOWNLOADING FILES or APPLYING UPDATES screens. I called support yesterday and they helped me clear those errors and get everything connected. I left it on for most of the day yesterday hoping that it would update. Had to shut it down and cover it last night because of rain. Powered it back up this morning and the WiFi settings were lost. App no longer shows the grill either. When I try to reconnect it, I keep getting the FAILED TO DOWNLOAD CERTIFICATE FILES message. Tech support had me to a few things to troubleshoot. Reboot router, reinstall app, clear history, reset the controller, etc. They said that they could see it connected on their end and even read back my SSID to me. But the display on the grill didn't show it as being connected and my app still showed 0 grills. Replacement controller is on the way.

Just finished spending a few months troubleshooting my Lil Tex Elite 22. After running all kinds of tests, trying different replacement parts, etc. - the finally sent me a replacement. I gifted the replacement to a family member and got the Pro 575 instead. Hopefully I didn't just get myself into another mess by buying this thing ?.

Failed to download certificates is a KNOWN BUG with Firmware 02.00.00 that surfaced after the January 2020 Update release ... most people who get caught up with that issue require a replacement controller to be sent out ... a few that had really long SSID names were able to truncate the name and get it connected/updated to 02.00.01 (or later), but that seems to be the exception rather than the rule ...

Thanks. My SSID is only 5 characters long so I don't think that is the problem. Hopefully the replacement controller fixes the issue and then it's smooth sailing from here on out.

Ended up returning the Pro 575. Decided it was worth the extra $ to get an Ironwood instead. Better wheels, more insulation, super smoke, side shelf, bigger hopper, pellet sensor, etc. Hopefully the one I'm picking up tonight has something other than 2.00.00 on it.

The Ironwood 650 came with SW 01.01.06 and Config 06.007. Connected it to the app and it updated right away. Now has FW 2.00.01 and Config 06.008. Running through the seasoning now.

That confirms that they've pushed back the planned obsolescence date for Firmware 01.xx.xx until at least Aug/Sept ... thanks for sharing :)
