I have a 375 and use a smoke tube, but I think maybe I'm not getting as much smoke as I'd like. I'm thinking about getting a

Kaduf Pellet Smoker Tray from Amazon, has anyone used one of these? Do they get the chamber too hot? Would it be better to just use this for maybe an hour or so before firing up the smoker? Some of the reviews say they provide more smoke. Most reviews are positive but don't go into much detail about where to put it or how they use it. https://www.amazon.com/Kaduf-Pellet...07JFPKFB3/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

These pellet trays are designed to produce smoke for up to 12 hours. Most cooks are significantly shorter than that. Also, the protein will generally absorb smoke only during the initial couple of hours of the cook. Thus, getting a smoke tube like the one below is more practical. There are lots of threads on using smoke tubes. Filling the tube, lighting the tube, and placement of the tube within the smoker are all critical to optimizing the smoke flavor. The threads will help you do this.

I suggesting getting two tubes as you can either generate more smoke for a short time or extend the total smoke time. Also, a cleaning brush is nice, but not required. Smoke tubes due generate heat. It is possible to use the smoke tube for the initial portion of the cook and only ignite the grill after the smoke tube dies down.

Check out this link for a smoke tube:
