Ironwood 885 _ Australian Model

Hi,

After several cooks the cooks were slight overcooked, I checked the calibration of the meat probe against 2 other digital thermometers (Weber & Inkbird) also the boiling water test and have discover that the Traeger meat probe is reading low by 3-4c or 37-39f. I see the new D2 controllers have a calibration function but my Ironwood 885 is an Australian model with a different controller (Gen 1 controller i guess).

Is there anything i can do or replace to fix this issue.

Cheers

I think you've got your C-F conversion calculation wrong 3C ambient temp might well be 37F but 3 degrees of C only equals about 5 degrees of F, which is within acceptable parameters as far as I know. Traeger tells me that anything 10F or less is acceptable in their eyes.
