We have the Traeger tailgater pellet grill and we have major fluctuations in temperature. I am currently cooking a butt and have it set for 225. The temperature has fluctuated as high as 315 to as low as 155. I am using Traeger brand Cherry pellets. I have noticed fluctuations the whole time we have had the grill, but never thought about asking if this is a normal occurrence. Is there something wrong with it? Should it be fluctuating like it is? Thanks for any input.
