Greetings from North Carolina! Brand new to the Traeger family, just got my first one this week (pro 34). I have been desiring a smoker for a while, and when my old gas grill (yes, I am ashamed) started giving up the ghost, I had a choice to make .... buy another propane grill AND an electric smoker, or look for something that could do both. Started my research, compared prices, and quickly realized for what I would spend on the gas grill & electric smoker I wanted, that I could get a Traeger ....... easy decision. I am two cookings I’m so far (Mahi Mahi & burgers) and I am very pleased with the results. Steaks tomorrow, and chickens Saturday.
