Ironwood XL Errors

I just bought an ironwood xl on fathers day and decided to use it today, about 4 hours in it gives a flame sensor disconnected error and now is showing a grill lid sensor error.

Did the seasoning go OK, was this your first cook?

If you put it together yourself checking all the connections would be a start as well as making sure you are on the latest firmware version? If the link above doesn't provide the answers maybe contact Traeger tech support?

However if it is brand new out of the box with faults I would reject it and demand a replacement from the place you bought it because that represents a basic QC failure at manufacture. To my mind once you start dancing to demands from tech support, other than basic fault identification, to change parts etc then they will see it as you accepting a faulty brand new unit!
