Hi, everyone:
I set out to cook some ribs today. Started my Bronson 20 per the usual way the book says. Set it to smoke and put the ribs on. Seemed to be working OK, but smoking temp seemed low at around 135 or so degrees. I got busy with other things. Later, when I checked the Traeger, it was completely dead - still plugged in, but completely dead. There is power to it, we checked the HD extension cord we're using with a radio and we could turn it off and on. A while ago, I had set the Traeger's P number to 0 (zero), if that has anything to do with it. But it has worked fine since then. It was a cloudy, rainy day with temps in the high 70's. Looked in the firepot and there were pellets there. And there were plenty of pellets in the hopper. It was a 3.5 lb rack of ribs. I was going to smoke for 2.5 hours and then wrap and finish at 225 degrees. Had to bring it inside and finish in the oven. What a waste! Any help would be greatly appreciated. The meat temp was about 115 degrees when the Traeger stopped working. Let me know if you need more info...
Best regards,
Jaina
